Property Accountant Jobs

Recruitment Partners is on the search for a Property Accountant to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will work to produce the companies financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze quarterly financial reporting packages and other documents for projects and joint ventures.
• Assist in annual property tax preparation.
• Assist in annual budget revisions.
• Provide back-up for accounts payable and other land accountants.
• Provide account analysis, prepare variance analysis, and maintain accurate and complete records and files.
• Prepare monthly financing packages, bank reconciliations and margins.
• Other ad hoc land accounting/finance projects as assigned
• Respond to audit inquires.
• Respond to manager and partner enquiries, collect data and research/analyze information.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Time management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with sound business judgement.
• Systems training in software programs, specifically: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Reflex.
• You can operate effectively in a small team.
• A degree or diploma in accounting and/or finance.
• 1-3 years accounting experience. Real estate or land development experience preferred.
