Program Implementation Manager Jobs

The Opportunity

We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking Program Implementation Manager to join our established and growing team in Canada.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Supporting communicating the impact of changes to the operating construct to internal and external stakeholders.
• Sponsoring changes to the program level processes and tools ensuring alignment with business developments.
• Monitoring and reporting progress of program implementation activities and deliverables.
• Assisting shape how key Program controls data is communicated to Program stakeholders.
• Engaging with key internal stakeholders to collaboratively identify key issues and risks across the organisation in an integrated manner including resource allocation, stakeholder impacts, financial management, communications, and training.
• Establishing and supervising reviews of the project and program controls environment with the senior leadership team.
• Championing and promoting knowledge transfer both within the client and the MCS JV individuals and supporting the knowledge transfer/mentor community.
• Enabling the program leadership to make strategic delivery decisions based on program level data and communicate to the rest of the business.
• Establishing a culture focused on business performance that constantly strives to improve performance and reduce costs via the development and use of consistent controls processes, procedures and systems internal to MCS as well as in the broader program environment.
• Sponsoring the continual development of GO Expansion program office systems and provide the vision and direction necessary for the business to adopt process and tools in other parts of the business.

About You

You have experience of integration between projects and sub-systems to ensure that all constituent sub-systems combine to satisfy the complete Program requirements and there are no “gaps”. You have demonstrable experience to reviewing proposed project scope changes and making recommendations of approval or rejection as appropriate depending on the overall impact on the achievement of the Program objectives and requirements. You have detailed knowledge of project controls techniques including Earned Value Management.

You have experience of establishing/working in a program management regime on a major infrastructure program (rail preferred) scheme. You have experience of working in a contracting environment. You have program/project controls experience in a complex multi-discipline project/ program

You have strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. You have strong data analysis and presentation skills. You have stamina and resilience required to deliver a major program.

You have a recognized engineering or technical qualification (degree preferred) and are a member of relevant professional institute. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated construction teams.
