We are currently seeking for an Implementation Manager to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end release management process, ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of our application
• Release Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, operations, and product management, to define and maintain a comprehensive release plan. Ensure alignment of release activities with business objectives and Agile principles.
• Release Coordination: Facilitate and coordinate all release activities, including scheduling, scoping, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication. Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure that all code changes, enhancements, and bug fixes are effectively tested, reviewed, and approved.
• Deployment Management: Oversee the deployment process and ensure that releases are delivered smoothly and efficiently into production environments. Define and enforce release policies and standards, and continuously improve the release process for maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
• Operations and Support: Work closely with operations and support teams to ensure seamless transition and ongoing maintenance of released software. Provide guidance and support to resolve any operational issues or incidents that may arise post-release. Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to incident response and problem management processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the release management process. Identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement automation strategies to optimize release cycles. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure release effectiveness and efficiency.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of release activities, including release notes, version control, and configuration management. Produce regular reports and metrics to track release progress, including successful deployments, issues encountered, and lessons learned.
Required Qualification:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in an release management role managing large, complex, multi system solutions end to end.
- Preferred University degree (Bachelors) in Computer Science or a similar nature
