Production Operator - Juice Concentrate

Shoreline Fruit is the largest tart cherry producer in North America operating nearly 7000 acres of cherry orchards right here in Michigan, growing and processing over 40 million pounds of cherries each year. Day & Night Shifts: 6:50am - 7:00pm, or 6:50pm - 7:00am in a 4-days on, 4-days off rotating cycle. (4 day vacation every week!)

• $15.00 - $17.00 + $1.00 shift premium for our night shift employees

Position Summary
Juice Concentrate Production Operators set up, operate, and tend to equipment used in the filtering process to produce clarified fruit juice concentrate and fruit infusion syrup.

• Hooking up hoses to tanks and manifolds for the transfer of fluids.
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices
• Cleaning and sanitizing tanks and equipment for food safe processing and storage of juice concentrate infusion syrup.
• Job requires being on your feet for most of the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must receive forklift and sanitation qualifications through our training and qualification programs.
• Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required if possessing appropriate skills.
