If you are excited about solving game-changing challenges, cutting edge technologies, and pushing the boundaries of entertainment, we invite you to join our journey and help us create the unknown.

Our Studio

Ubisoft Toronto is one of the largest development studios within Ubisoft, employing talented developers from around the world. We create worlds and tell stories that grip you, inspire you and challenge you. Since opening in 2010, we have shipped innovative game projects on some of Ubisoft’s biggest brands: Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, Watch Dogs, For Honor and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell.

Are you looking to work with enthusiastic experts who are tackling industry-changing challenges in entertainment and beyond? At Ubisoft Toronto, we are always striving to get better, be better and do better – embracing innovative ideas, exploring new technologies, and working together courageously and collaboratively.

We’re collaborating with Disney and Lucasfilm Games on a new story-driven open-world video game set in the beloved Star Wars galaxy. This is a lore we love and want to do justice with a game and story that bring both new and lifelong fans on an immersive and outstanding journey that will stay with them for years.

As a Production Manager at Ubi TO, you break down a game vision into a roadmap of achievable milestones and concentrate the day-to-day efforts of a group of production team members to reach them.

Reporting to the story producer, you’re responsible for defining, planning, prioritizing, communicating, and tracking project deliverables. You have a wide perspective of the production floor: a realistic grasp of our capabilities, thorough understanding of interdependencies, knowledge of the actionable steps to get to our goals, and awareness of where to focus our energy. You see to it that your team is prepared and able to ship quality features and content to our players – on time and in a supportive environment.

  • Prepare and evaluate post-mortems to continuously improve our production processes;
  • Partner with the core team to understand the overall game vision & requirements;
  • Regularly meet with your team to allocate tasks, discuss progress and setbacks, communicate milestones, prioritize deliverables, present updates, address concerns, give direction, gather feedback, etc.;
  • Carry out the annual evaluations of your team members.
  • Track, monitor, and analyze the production schedule; rescoping & adjusting your strategies when need be;
  • Organize the approvals and debugging of deliverables + keep team leads up to date on progress and issues;
  • Collaborate with the producing team to define and plan the project scope of your specific deliverables (e.g. level art, audio, UI, VFX, mission, economy, gameplay rules, etc.), creating the production schedule and developing strategies;
  • Participate in recruitment to build your team + foster their professional growth and career progression;
  • Sync up with other production managers to ensure consistency, remove blockers, and mitigate risks;
