Product Owner (Independent Consultant/ English & Spanish)

Adecco is recruiting for a Product Owner, fluent in Spanish & English for a 12-month contract opportunity for our client based in Mexico City, this role is fully remote. The successful candidate must be an independent consultant (incorporated).

The Product Owner will have the following responsibilities:

• Managing the product backlog and prioritizing items based on product and stakeholder requirements.
• Managing internal relationships and recommending changes, enhancements, or solutions to products or to increase revenue, strengthen delivery of targets, and/or maximize consumer loyalty for the new products and features.
• Ensuring that new products and services are launched, and project and product KPI’s, i.e. revenue and/or customer experience targets are achieved.
• Developing change management and go to market plans and overseeing execution from supporting teams.
• Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints.
• Developing user stories, decides on product features
• Leading user acceptance testing and conducting a final review before providing recommendation on Go/No Go for launch.
• Develops and manages new product specifications and business cases, while taking responsibility for the final product
• Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the Product Development Lifecycle process.
• Developing integrated multi-functional implementation strategies and plans for approved product evolution, product development, product release, customer experience improvement and project management.
• Liaising with the product team and various internal stakeholders, which includes the business team to deliver updates.
• Acting as the primary contact between the scrum teams, product development teams and stakeholders and collaborating with these teams to ensure the products meet specific objectives as outlined by stakeholders.
• Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of the implementation of product development and/or modifications and recommending required corrective action.

The Product Owner must meet the following mandatory requirements:

• Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, multi-initiative environment.
• Sound organizational, analytical, judgement and decision-making skills with proven abilities in problem solving.
• Overseeing digital product beta/pilot launches, and translating customer feedback into products and services
• Excellent oral and written communication inEnglish & Spanish
• Completed post-secondary, preferable in a related field such as: Commerce/Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office tools and project management tools.
• Strong knowledge of user-centric design principles, design thinking, and understanding of design quality standards.
• Completed Scrum Product Owner certification is considered an asset
• Strategic thinker, market insight, business acumen.
• In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile development framework and methodology.
• Great collaboration and influencing skills and ability to work with many teams while building/maintaining effective relationships.
• Experience with PDLC – Product Development Lifecycle of product management.
• 3-6 years of relevant functional experience.
