Hiring Company’s Metals & Mining Deep Sector Strategy is built around delivering critical data and analysis of fundamental information to its client base of mining specialists and analysts in investment banks, investment funds, wealth management, and mining corporates including both producers and exploration & development companies. Hiring Company achieves this through the development of thoughtful products and analysis born out of a desire to flow and analyze what matters to Hiring Company's mining-specific clients now and in the future. Hiring Company is undertaking an acceleration of its investment in the Metals & Mining sector and aims to have increased and expanded coverage of key mining sub-sectors and focus metals.

Job Responsibilities

• Skilled at working with matrixed teams and building relationships with senior leadership.
• Report to the Head of Metals & Mining and take on responsibilities for content and product management as well as assigned sub-sectors and focus metals.
• Have a significant impact both internally and externally, promoting opinions and knowledge effectively with external and internal stakeholders.
• Lead and foster idea generation, research, and thought leadership content across Metals & Mining.
• Familiarity with granular mining datasets, modeling fundamentals, and the ability to develop and oversee the development and delivery of products.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Exceptional collaboration, organizational & communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal direction and supervision.
• Experience in product and content development and management preferred.
• Strong organizational skills combined with a sense of urgency in delivering on products.
• Strong quantitative aptitude and qualitative reasoning and understanding of economic and financial statement analysis.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Metals & Mining industry and capital markets.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and project management skills.
• Strong understanding of client workflows and Hiring Company client types.
• Mining/Resource background, mining engineering or geology degree preferred.

Additional Information

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• The budgeted amount for this position in the state of Colorado is $80,000 - $115,000.
