Job Description
Spud.ca has an exciting opportunity for a twelve-month contract Product Manager with experience in Warehouse Management Systems and eCommerce platforms. This role will primarily support the stabilization of our legacy Warehouse Management Systems while still having some exposure to collaborating on our new platform development.


You will guide the success of various systems by improving efficiency, automations, and creating a seamless user experience for our team members. You advocate for our team members using the applications you manage and understand the benefit of building strong solutions to drive great business results.

Duties & Responsibilities:


The Product Manager sits at the intersection of business, technology, and user experience (UX). They will work closely with our operations, logistics, delivery, and development teams to support our Warehouse Management Systems. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to manage the backlog, create a month-to-month view of the roadmap, and define the end-to-end experience for our warehouse, operation, and delivery team members.


  • Discover and deliver product requirement documents with prioritized features and business or operational values justification.
  • Familiarity with multiple of the following domains: order management, supply chain management, MRP, procurement, warehouse management, inventory management, fulfillment planning, and transportation management.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments.
  • Balance usability, feasibility, viability, and sustainability.
  • Demonstrated success defining and delivering products into production.
  • Manage product lifecycle from concept, through gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, executing product strategy & vision, and working closely with engineering.
  • Additional duties as required.
  • Working with various business and operations owners, you will define the product priorities and roadmap.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for development by engineering teams.
  • Continuous awareness of technology developments that may impact the product.
  • At least 5+ years as a Product Manager and/or Product Owner.
  • Familiarity with one or more of the business domains of retail, grocery/produce, eCommerce, B2C distribution, and third-party logistics.
  • Provide updates to senior management and leadership teams on project deliverables and release plan.
  • Have experience in Agile Development Product Management.
  • Collaborate with engineering, community care, operations, and logistics teams.
