About Us
We are a team of Counsellors, Psychiatric Nurses, Psychologists, and Clinical Social Workers with decades of combined experience developing and delivering in-person and remote-based mental health programs, counselling services, psychological assessment, and training and capacity building services in communities across northern Canada. We work with organizations, all levels of government, communities and private sector organizations.
NCTS works with an associate team model, hiring independent professionals on contract to deliver essential mental health support services, with a client-centered, culturally safe and community-oriented approach. Our associate model relies on a core of dedicated counsellors who have extensive experience working with northern and Indigenous residents.

The Position
NCTS is growing rapidly, and we are looking to bring on Contract Managers. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Contract Administration, this is a permanent full-time remote position.
We are looking for someone with solid project/contract management experience, strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will be responsible for managing multiple contracts in multiple regions, including from the beginning stages of customer needs assessments and service plan development; contract negotiations, extensions and renewals; ongoing customer liaising and support by serving as a single point of contact.
Responsibilities
Overseeing and managing multiple contracts:
- Identifying team of associates for contract, drafting Associate Work Orders, communicating and planning with associates
- Finalizing SoW in concert with Director of Planning & Operations and customer into formal contract
- Overseeing drafting Scope of Work (SoW), including fee structure with support from Junior Contract Administrator
- Ongoing communication and check-in with associates and support where needed (including invoicing, etc.)
- Lead on developing Program Plan for designated contracts including calendar planning, tasks, customer meetings, outreach, etc.
- Planning, organization, logistics and communications of contracts and various reporting requirements
Other:
- Providing planning and management support to our associates services including but not limited to travel planning, travel plan approval and troubleshooting
- Disseminating relevant information to appropriate stakeholders and to NCTS Management in an appropriate and organized manner
- Consulting and collaborating with team members, associates, NCTS management, and other relevant stakeholders as needed
- Working with NCTS Accounting to track contract budget, review Associate and customer invoicing
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Proven creativity, initiative, and ability to work well under pressure
- Experience with school-based settings either from a service delivery, contract management or policy perspective an asset
- Excellent organizational, time management and written skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Completion of cultural sensitivity courses (such as SanYas) is an asset
- Experience working with northern and/or Indigenous communities is an asset.
- Capable of learning new technologies along with solid computer skills
- Experience in overseeing projects or contracts from beginning to end
