Job Title: Producing Assistant, 1 position available

Hourly Wage: $18.50

Number of Weeks: 8

Number of Hours per Week: 35 hours

Start Date: June 26th, 2023, or as soon as possible

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of current Executive Director, Kira Allen and Artistic Director Marcel Stewart, the Producing Assistant will assist with contracting, artist communications, marketing asset management, technical and production communication, outreach, some archival work, and gathering artist and arts programming participant access needs. The Producing Assistant will also assist in assembling statistics and materials for program reporting.

Ideal candidates:

• Have an interest in live performance and arts programming for youth
• Demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
• Are self-motivated and have the ability to work independently to complete projects and tasks
• Are familiar with online tools including Google Drive, Gmail, Monday.com, and Slack

Qualifications:

• Great organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• These positions are funded by ESDC Canada Summer Jobs. To be eligible applicants must meet ESDC requirements.
