Job Summary:

As a Piping Designer, you will play a crucial role in our exciting new project within the oil and gas industry. Your primary responsibility will be to utilize your proficiency in CADworx Plant 3D to design and create accurate piping systems. Working closely with our talented engineering team, you will contribute to the overall success of the project by providing detailed designs and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements in piping design.
• Create accurate and detailed piping layouts, isometrics, and support designs.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and codes to ensure compliance.
• Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts to ensure optimal system functionality.
• Generate material take-offs and support procurement activities.
• Conduct design reviews and participate in project meetings to communicate progress and address any design-related issues.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Utilize CADworx Plant 3D software to design and model piping systems for the oil and gas industry.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in piping design within the oil and gas industry.
• Proficiency in CADworx Plant 3D is essential.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with engineering processes, workflows, and project execution.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving design challenges.
• Sound knowledge of industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ANSI).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate designs within project timelines.
