Responsibilities:

• Process and validate checks, collection letters, and provide NRM database feedback.
• Offer rotational coverage on holidays or weekends, and overtime on high-volume days.
• Monitor and report intra-day activity.
• Resolve intra-day position issues through various reports.
• Ensure the correctness and authenticity of instructions.
• Correct improperly formatted transactions.
• Maintain awareness of daily work levels and meet established standards.
• Identify and prioritize critical items.
• Handle transaction processing for domestic and international customers.
• Handle foreign exchange processing, including currency transactions and wire transfers.
• Adhere to external regulations and internal policies.
• Process ACH, CP, LYNX, and Funds Control operations.
• Contribute to the Permanent Operational Control device by applying procedures, monitoring, and alerting superiors to issues.
• Provide Payment Services and Level 1 Sanctions coverage
• Escalate complex cases to the Level 2 team.
• Perform initial reviews of apparent false positives.

Job Requirements:

• Degree from an accredited college/university.
• 1 to 3 years of banking operations experience.
• Customer service-oriented.
• Knowledge of local clearing systems, SWIFT, and associated formatting challenges.
• Industry knowledge: Wire Transfer and Check processing with understanding of Accounting and Regulatory backgrounds.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Strong grasp of Funds Transfer operations, including governing rules and regulations (CHIPS, Fedwire, LYNX, and ACH).
• Proficient in PC applications: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of multitasking under pressure.
• Banking experience with foreign exchange preferred.
