Adecco is currently hiring several temporary, full-time Customer Service Representative (Outbound) to work for our client in Toronto, ON. This is a remote position, however, does require you to attend onsite training for one week, as well as occasional training and support as needed.
In this role you will be managing inbound calls as well as engaging customers by making outbound calls to locate lost shareholders and aid them in understanding the process to recover assets they may not know they have. This role offers $26.00/hour and will require you to initiate outbound calls to validate leads and build relationships with institutional account holders.

- Pay rate: $26.00 /hour
- Location: Toronto, ON (King and University), remote with occasional days onsite
- Job type: 12 month contract with possible extension, full-time
- Shifts: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Responsibilities :
- Staying up to date on Client/Program specifics, business strategy changes, and legal updates
- Effectively and professionally resolving customer complaints
- Providing high-level assistance in the stock transfer process by offering advice and direction on legal requirements for participation and directions to available support resources
- Responding to some inbound calls
- Building relationships with institutional account holders
- Initiating outbound phone calls to validate leads
- Adhering to strict compliance checks during calls
- Proactively conducting analysis and research on shareholder registration information to source viable leads to locate lost shareholders, or their beneficiaries, relatives, or heirs
Qualifications:
- Word processing, spreadsheets, Internet, e-mail, and database software knowledge.
- Attention to detail
- Must pass credit and criminal checks
- French Bilingual (preferred not required)
- Outbound call center experience (preferred)
- Experience working in Banking or Finance would be an asset
- Training and/or knowledge of PC applications (Word & Excel)
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
- 1-year previous call center experience
- Able to follow strict regulated processes
