The opportunity

We are currently seeking an Oracle Senior PM – Senior Manager to join our team. This team offers variety, challenge, responsibility, and the opportunity to realize your leadership potential. Our Oracle consulting practice, will provide you with the opportunity to help organizations use enterprise technology to achieve their digital technology goals and capitalize on business opportunities. We help our clients implement and effectively use Oracle offerings to solve their business problems and fuel success in the areas of finance, operations, human capital, customer, and governance, risk and compliance.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager – Oracle Project Manager, your responsibilities will be fourfold: (1) take on the day-to-day project management of Oracle projects, (2) drive and support business development and sales pursuits within the Oracle practice, (3) assist with developing methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view and thought leadership to accelerate growth and differentiate EY, and (4) actively invest in and mentor team members on and off projects to create a followership and to expand our expertise and capabilities, including acting as a liaison and increasing collaboration with our offshore team.

• Team with client business and technology professionals, and/or third-party strategic alliances to provide implementation of technology solutions
• Experience project managing full-cycle Oracle projects
• Experience with (leading) proposal writing and preparing and delivering orals presentations
• A forward thinker and self-starter that thrives on an adapts quickly to new challenges
• Develop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally
• An interest in staying abreast of Oracle and project management trends
• Strong written and verbal client-facing communication and presentation skills; should be comfortable interacting with clients daily

To qualify for the role you must have

• A minimum of 8 years of Oracle project management experience, covering a minimum of 3 large full-cycle projects
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in the Oracle domain, including numerous years of hands-on functional experience
• The successful candidate must also be willing and able to travel up to 90% as required for specific client projects
• English: Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability formulate and communicate a structured approach to project management to the teams
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise business processes with technology skills
• Mastery of tools and software dedicated to project management e.g. MS Project
