Your New Role:


My client are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join their dynamic team. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day building operations of a high profile commercial site. You will work closely with inhouse property management team to ensure the highest level of operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and tenant satisfaction.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards pertaining to building operations and safety.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Monitor and control operating expenses to ensure adherence to budgets.
  • Manage and supervise a team of building operations staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in building operations to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and coordinate preventive maintenance programs, repairs, and improvements for all building systems and equipment.
  • Develop and implement effective operational strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient building operations and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with property management team to address tenant concerns, resolve maintenance issues, and enhance tenant experience.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.


What You Will Need to Succeed:


  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software.
  • Proven experience in building operations management, preferably in a commercial or residential property management environment.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies and policies.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
