Detailed Overview


Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families:


Coordinates the research and input of information into a computerized system for Fraser Health ensuring accuracy and consistency in data and ensuring system issues are resolved in a timely manner; works with other stakeholders in the Organization to troubleshoot system problems, streamline and standardize processes and implement best practices; establishes clear lines of communication between the stakeholders to ensure clear access to critical functional issues; provides technical leadership, training and direction to the Real Estate teams by providing recommendations on user processes, policies on information management and training needs related to the information system.


Responsibilities


  • Establishes clear lines of communication and ensures clear visibility to critical functional issues by writing queries to customize reports to meet user needs and conducts system audits to ensure data integrity; represents the department at system meetings by establishing and maintaining clear lines of communications between the user departments, IWMS team, and internal IT departments.
  • Provides functional Real Estate Leasing, Acquisitions and Property Management (LPM) support to ensure that Fraser Health business needs are met; coordinates the entry of data into the information system to ensure the application is used to its full potential; acts as a primary point of contact for business area users across Fraser Health around the information system, usage and access.
  • Develops and maintains training and reference materials related to new systems and processes to ensure knowledge transfer and consistent usage by users; identifies staff training needs and establishes training sessions; provides one-on-one guidance to staff, as required.
  • Identifies opportunities and makes recommendations for further exploitation of LPM module by ensuring system enhancements are developed, tested and deployed and function according to agreed upon requirements.
  • Provides technical guidance and direction to Real Estate team members in all aspects of reporting, auditing and testing of data; makes recommendations on project priorities and works closely with key stakeholders in the determination and implementation of best practices.
  • Works closely with the IWMS team and other corporate teams to address technical issues and to mitigate risk around shared elements and critical system dependencies.


Qualifications


Education and Experience


Diploma in Information Technology and/or related discipline, supplemented with three (3) to five (5) years' recent related experience with information/business systems as it relates to facilities leasing and property management for a large complex organization, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
