You are a tech savvy IT Professional who is successful in delivering exceptional solutions for your customers and stakeholders. Your initiative, passion for technology and exceptional decision making skills are strengths that will be critical to achieving the project goals. In this project manager role, you will be responsible for the planning and successful delivery of the IT scope for large and medium sized projects with moderate risk and complexity for the Greater Toronto Area. Your projects will include network infrastructure, audio visual, IoT devices and custom solutions that will be used daily by TELUS team members.

Here's what you will be responsible for:

• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
• Use and continually develop leadership skills
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Manage the relationship with the internal customer and all stakeholders
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

• Will be required for site work 3 days per week. Could be various locations in the GTA.
• Valued for your 5 or more years of project management experience
• Skillful at proactively identifying issues and opportunities, analyzing facts and data, and developing and implementing solutions to address
• Mastery with Excel (Google Sheets) and MS Project are required
• Regarded as a builder of strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including vendors
• G Drivers License and access to a vehicle
• Project Manager Professional Certification is required
• Recognized for your record of successfully managing multiple projects and priorities while delivering on commitments and budget
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, practices, and tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both business and technical situations and the ability to cater the conversation to many different audiences
• Will have opportunity to work remote 1-2 days per week
• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study
