Preferred Qualifications and Skill set:

Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or other relevant technical discipline

CPA designation, with 3+ years of relevant experience in the industry

Organizational and project management skills with a rigorous attention to detail.

Draft investment summaries, recommendations and presentations for senior management

Develop, in conjunction with the Asset Management Team, an operating and capital budget.

Knowledge and experience in real estate underwriting, valuation and modeling, including discounted cash flow analysis

You obsess about customers, listen, engage and act for their benefit.

1-3 years of real estate transactional experience

Solid technical and troubleshooting abilities in the provision of Leasing and Property Management support

Knowledge and understanding of business functions and processes to enhance business processes and create efficiencies

Ability to demonstrate considerable judgment, tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing and handling information of a confidential and/or sensitive nature

Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assignments in a dynamic environment with changing priorities

Aptitude for working with numerical data and performing data analysis

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Support internal audit on behalf of the asset management platform

Oversight of third-party property management’s processes, record keeping and due diligence.

Support Global Real Estate Operations document management hub of records on SharePoint platform

Oversee management of corporate memberships and subscriptions ensuring the global contract inventory is centralized

Provide support on document management and support the business unit records coordinator (BURC)

Ability to manage many different sets of collaborators. Excellent collaboration and good relationship leadership skills.

2+ yrs experience in commercial real estate investments, investment banking, or related financial analyst or capital markets roles.

Excellent knowledge of finance and financial modeling concepts.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, real estate, or a related field.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Proven ability to work well both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

Experience with working in the real estate space, asset management experience is an asset

Generate and review the monthly reporting dashboard for senior management review

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:

5 years of related experience in accounting and financial management

Thorough knowledge of all relevant Canadian federal and provincial reporting requirements

Manage a team of general and project accountants and provide effective coaching

Manage bank financing lines, loans, letters of credit, investments, and accounts, while monitoring cash and recommending when further financing is required

Real estate development industry experience required

$120,000-$140,000 total compensation with great benefits

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations.

Advanced knowledge of financial software and tools, such as Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting systems.

Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present financial information and insights to stakeholders.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, or a related field

Real Estate industry experience is preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Provide guidance and recommendations the feasibility and profitability of potential real estate investments

Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential real estate investments

Create and run updated financial models on existing assets and/or acquisitions
