Operations Manager Food Jobs

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Operations Manager Food on a permanent basis on our Food team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Winnipeg, MB.

What you’ll do:

• Coach local Co-op team leaders to identify and execute on operational efficiencies, manage staff costs, merchandising and food safety standards.
• Approximately 20% travel required.
• Provide feedback to Home Office regarding local market conditions, competitive pricing, marketing activity, policy and program recommendations, and sales promotion ideas.
• Lead Operations Advisors to review action plans, offering support, direction, and review and approve sales action plans to identify internal and outreach sales growth opportunities.
• Improve EBITDA results for local Co-ops. Work with Retail Senior Leadership developing action plans and completing operational reviews.

You will work closely with local Co-ops and your team of Operations Advisors reporting into the Senior Operations Manager Food. This team strives to cultivate a culture of trust, collaboration, and results.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

• Have 8+ years of relevant progressively responsible experience in retail store operations (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
• Have a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or marketing.
