Operations Assistant (Back of House)

OVERALL DUTIES: The Operations Assistant is responsible for the general maintenance and overall organization of the stock areas and assists management in controlling inventory and loss prevention.

Responsibilities:

• Support selling floor when necessary.
• Assist visual with stock rotations and window changes as well as appropriate storage of visual props to protect company assets
• Determine and make necessary changes ensuring proper storage for the protection of assets. The organization also included systematic placement for ease of access for the selling team to locate stock quickly
• Maintain accurate records and reports of all incoming and outgoing transfers, purchase orders, shortages, overages, and issues as they pertain to store stock
• • And other duties assigned from time to time
• Compile and file all documents pertaining to stock movement following proper procedures
• Assist management with the preparation of store inventory and insuring stock areas maintain inventory preparedness throughout the year
• Consistently maintaining stock of store supplies
• Responsible for making necessary adjustments for shortages, overages, and damages and communicating to the operations department the necessary information
• Ensure all garments are properly prepared for sales floor presentation
• Responsible for checking in all products and verifying the accuracy of the shipments
• Coordinate the disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete props
• Responsible for the shipment of customer purchases, store transfers, and warehouse transfers

Requirements:

• Physical capability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
• Prior experience in retail stockroom is preferable
• Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong organizational skills pertaining to all store product
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
