Job Description
Powell Foundations Inc. (PFI), located in Stouffville Ontario, strives to provide clients with all their foundation needs. We specialize in the construction of temporary excavation protection, pile driving, deep caisson shafts, sheet pile cofferdams, noise barriers and overhead sign footings. We are growing and looking to add an Operations Administrator to our team.


Responsibilities


  • Assist in operations supporting programs – drill courses, training, associations etc.
  • Assist and produce operational field procedures.
  • Run and develop mandates for notifications/communication to the field about all new company changes/policies.
  • Creating agendas for the Operations team and holding them accountable (safety/quality/claims/procedures/etc).
  • Other duties as required.
  • Ensures safety and quality elements are followed through on the jobs.
  • Assisting with operations meetings, scheduling meetings and Supervisor/Foreman meetings.
  • Mange and produce the operational library of Procedures/Policies.
  • Liaison between PM, PC and Preconstruction departments to produce and structure handover documents.
  • Partake in new training programs, develop training programs and lessons learned.


Qualifications


  • Excellent at time Management and Organizational Skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Intermediate/advanced competency with various Microsoft Office Suite Projects, including Excel, Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Word.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Experience in the construction industry is considered an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail
