Maintains primary responsibility and oversight for UBC Vantage College s day-to-day administrative management.

Manages facilities and facility space requirements for UBC Vantage College.

Provides guidance and direction to faculty members regarding human resource management and employee relations.

Implements and manages special projects and services, which include the following:

Hires, manages performance, disciplines and terminates administrative support staff.

7-10 years of supervisory/management experience required with increasing responsibilities in operations

Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management

Responsible for all operational areas relating to Transport and Courier while ensuring efficiencies and meeting on-time service goals

Salary £25,000 - £27,000 PA depending on experience

Provide general administrative support, including handling phone calls, emails, and correspondence

Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, records, and databases

Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports, documents, and presentations

Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements Assist in coordinating projects, including liaising with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors

Maintain project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and other relevant records.

• Effective organizational, prioritization, and time management skills;

• Required to complete any and all Anti Money Laundering, Complaint Management and PIPEDA courses

• Experience in Dataphile is an asset;

• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) skills;

• Excellent interpersonal skills an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff;

This is currently a hybrid work schedule job assignment, twice a month in office.

Establish and manage scope, schedule, cost, quality and performance metrics in accordance with Departmental and Divisional polices and directives.

Lead the development of project business case(s) including the development of related demand forecasts and benefits analysis to support project justification.

Preferably experienced in managing projects and programs involving supply chain, port operations and extensive public consultation.

A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

Ability to work individually and in a team atmosphere

Physically capable of completing heavy manual labour in all weather conditions

A valid driver’s license with a clear abstract

Show your dedication and support the terminal operation to improve our safety culture and overall safety performance

Offload railcars and accurately complete documentation as required

Fleet Management, reporting and record keeping

1-3 years of experience in an industrial medic environment

Strong communication skills – Written & Verbal

QA/QC (Aladtec) reporting, scheduling, and inspection

· Prior management, dispatch and dock experience required, preferably in LTL trucking industry

· Experience in managing a team, preferably in transportation operations

· Must have strong leadership skills including the ability to hire, coach, counsel, train, and mentor employees

· Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills

Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule of:

Monday - Friday 5:00PM to 3:00AM

Two to five years of relevant industry experience is an asset.

Experience with FieldCap or similar field ticketing software is an asset.

Perform administrative tasks, including manipulation of data, data entry and modification

A minimum of two years of relevant experience

Credit union experience (an asset)

Advanced knowledge in MS Outlook and Excel

Strong knowledge of computers and typing

Process manual changes received by mail or email through ticketing system

Bachelor's degree in a related field or at least 5 years of terminal/general management experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience in terminal management or terminal, refinery, or tank vessel experience.

Experience in staff management and operating equipment

EDUCATION, TRAINING, LICENSES, EXPEREINCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS.

Supervising and coordinating terminal Staff, including recruitment, performance management and training

Planning and coordinating customer service activities in collaboration with sales and operations management.
