The Role
We are currently searching for an Administrator, Operations reporting to the Supervisor, Operations. This is a 6-month Contract opportunity. Candidates will primarily work dayshift but must be available for evenings and weekends as well.
Location
Port Coquitlam Distribution Centre
What You'll Be Doing
- Investigate and complete customer credit requests
- Effective communication and customer service skills as this position requires direct contact with internal and external customers or third-party carriers
- Daily reporting and ongoing verification/compilation of paperwork
- Scheduling inbound and outbound load appointments with flexibility
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
- Support operations working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Build load manifests
Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
- Experience working within a dispatch or warehouse environment would be preferable
- Preferable experience with SAP, and/or similar ERP systems experience using business process management software
Skills
- Excellent customer service, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proven ability to produce accurate, efficient and timely documentation
- Exceptional data-entry speed and accuracy
