Job Description

This is a full‐time entry level position primarily to support both external and internal clients on the Operations side from fulfillment to operational processes. If you have a strong organization skills and the flexibility to try out various tasks in a small business, help us run our Operations and Customer Support for the joinery and solid wood community! Our story is simple: Knowledge, Products, Connect. Put a time and space together to share knowledge, learn new things, meet new people. Woodworking and wood science knowledge is not reuqired. Responsibilities

  • Assist other members to implement client and internal projects
  • Carry-out warehousing, packing, shipping, and inventory control responsibilities
  • Practice, and safeguard all company operations policies and processes
  • Support and execute the overall Company, particularly in Operations, on as-needed, rotational basis
  • Practice, safeguard, and improve operations processes
  • Create, modify, and safekeep business documents and technical drawings
  • Support internal and external communications including documentations, social media, websites
  • Support and execute projects, events, and client outreach opportunities
  • Support sales, marketing, and customer service tasks


Qualifications

  • Good interpersonal skills required, excellent team member and player
  • Valid travel documents and license such as Passport and Driver’s license; Nexus is strongly preferred
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, project management tools such as Excel, Project, and other project management tools; ability to organize effectively electric documents and assets
  • Ability to lift about 50 lbs. Ability to follow Company and job site safety standards and practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong demonstration of project implementation processes and skills
  • Able to create and execute work plans with periodic supervision
  • Use experience, logic, and analysis to solve problems in a timely manner
  • Effective under pressure to deliver per client expectations
  • Completed post-secondary education with a minimum of 2 years of job experience in Operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong documentation and presentation skills
  • Required diligence and ability to organize and communicate task status and work plans
  • Proficient in viewing and general manipulation of files including Microsoft Office files and PDFs.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and drive domestically and internationally
