Job Description
SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Director, HSE, the Office Administrator provides administrative support and assists with health and safety, document control and marketing activities within Morgan Construction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in internal/ external marketing activities including social media, website maintenance, preparation proposal and project bid requests
  • Assist with document processing of electronic files including creation, editing and complete final verifications in both using O365 software
  • High level of proficiency with Office 365 programs
  • Maintain and track incidents and corrective actions
  • Assist with the continuous improvement and development of records management standards.
  • Must have excellent communication, written, and organizational skills
  • Prepares weekly reports, meeting minutes and other documents in an effective and accurate manner
  • Outside the box thinker who helps seek innovative solutions
  • Inputs data, and conducts quality assurance of incident reports and various documentation
  • Assist in developing of internal courses in the Learning Management System (LSM)
  • Prepares weekly reports, and other documents in an effective and accurate manner
  • Detailed and able to edit documents to maintain high corporate standards
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills
  • Performs additional duties as required
  • Supports daily HSE, Documental Control and Marketing requests and queries
  • Assist with editing and processing documents in both Word and Excel formats
  • Inputs data, and conducts quality assurance of incident reports and various documentation
  • Provides administrative support to multiple departments (HSE, Document Control, Marketing)

Requirements
  • Required: High School Diploma, with 4 years of administrative experience. Exposure to the Health and Safety, Document Control and Marketing areas would be an asset
  • Preferred: Health and Safety Administration (HSA), Marketing or related Business courses
  • A minimum of 2 years in the oil/gas or road building construction industry would be an asset
