Bayshore is looking for passionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our amazing team. You will use your clinical skills to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality home health care, they need and deserve delivered with compassion, excellence and reliability, in the comfort and safety of their homes.


Job Summary


The LPN Administrator, under the direction of the immediate Supervisor, provides administrative support in various areas as needed, coordinates internal/external communication This important customer service role is responsible for administrative tasks including:


Answering phones


scheduling clients for wound care and other nursing services.


Preparing reports and documents as requested.


Handling incoming and outgoing mail and couriers as well as maintaining mailing lists and databases.


Arranging appointments and meetings.


Providing ongoing support to external business associates and clients as directed; maintain confidential business files.


Assisting in the development of materials for presentations to current and potential clients.


Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities


Adhering to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.


Participate in weekend on call rotation


Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System.


Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.


Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel.


Complete other tasks as requested.


Qualifications - External


Positions open to LPNs who have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current registration with the provincial licensing body.


Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle


Must have at least 1 year of Wound Care experience


Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required. Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated competency in keyboarding and Windows scheduling software. Ability to operate all standard office equipment; proficiency in written and spoken English as well as French in Branch Offices that provide service to French speaking clients.


Exceptional customer relations and teamwork skills; proficiency in Windows applications, database management, e-mail and the internet; administrative or executive level writing skills; demonstrated ability to establish priorities, handle multiple tasks and work independently and as a team member; strong commitment to continual learning; fluency in written and spoken English as well as French in Branch Offices that provide service to French speaking clients.
