Network Analyst - Cisco On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Network Analyst - Cisco.
Network Analyst - Cisco –

• The Global Network Operations oversees network function throughout bank and are currently implementing additional security to bank’s networks
• The main function of this role is to document, plan and implement security remediations for vulnerabilities detected in network devices and services, as well as provide assistance to troubleshoot issues related to network services
• Implement the corresponding remediations based on the bank's change management process
• Story behind the need: Additional support required with the implementation of the project
• This project will be utilizing Cisco Networking and any Cisco experience or certifications would be beneficial
• Troubleshoot incidents related to network services (LAN, WAN, firewall, load balancing, monitoring tools)
• Project: This project is in the implementation stages of its lifecycle; this project will be executing additional security to bank’s networks
• Document and plan the remediations to the identified security vulnerabilities for network devices and services
• Participating in network/systems operations, monitoring, design or implementation

Network Analyst - Cisco – Mandatory Skills

• CCNA Technical designation is required
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field
• Knowledge, CMDB/Asset Management, Change Management)
• 5+ experience working with Load-Balancers and WAN platforms, such as F5 and Riverbed
• Excellent verbal and written skills are essential
• Expertise in securing fundamental networking protocols: HTTP, TCP, TLS, IPSEC, 802.1x
• Prior Financial Institution experience
• 8+ years working on network operations or senior network analyst work experience with proven ability to manage within a time sensitive environment
• Knowledge and experience in Service Management (Event Management, Incident management
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex activities
• Working knowledge of network tools for troubleshooting network-related problems, and monitoring LAN/WAN capacity, perfor5mance, security and availability
• 5+ years' experience with network environments/components (Routing, Switching, Firewall, Data Center Networking technologies, SDN, WAN technologies, VPN, Wifi, etc.)

Network Analyst - Cisco - Preferred Skills

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification a plus
