Job Description
One of our manufacturing clients in East Gwillimbury, ON is looking for a Millwright Apprentice for their tier-1 facility.


Shift - Night


Responsibilities


  • Install new equipment coordinated with outside services, as required.
  • Maintain performance standards.
  • Millwright apprentice (third or fourth year)
  • Assembling machinery and equipment (prior to installation)
  • Installing machinery and equipment
  • Complete work assignments ensuring work is completed thoroughly and in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain maintenance standards and develop and recommend maintenance programs.
  • Perform outlined procedures for regular machine preventive/predictive maintenance program.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair activities for machine breakdowns as necessary.


Qualifications


  • Ability to comprehend and troubleshoot mechanical equipment/systems using step-by-step procedures
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Some experience working in a manufacturing environment
