Job Description
One of our Tier-1 / 2 automotive clients is looking for a Millwrihgt for their plant in Oshawa.


Shift - Days and Afternoon


Main responisibility is to install, maintain machinery and support structures efficiently of the plant.


Responsibilities


  • Possess all common hand tools and able to read, interpret and use micrometers, verniers, etc.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with Trade 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright.
  • Basic operations of machine tools, lathes, mills, grinder drills, etc.
  • Capable of lining up shafts and couplings etc.
  • Able to complete overhauls and major repairs to all plant machinery and equipment.
  • Perform welding repairs.
  • Able to determine root cause analysis, perform troubleshooting when needed.
  • Should be doing basic rigging, unloading and/or dismantling heavy pieces of equipment.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.


Skills & Qualifications


  • Must hold a valid Ontario License Certificate of Qualification issued by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities.
