Millwright Jobs

Talentworld is currently seeking a Millwright for our client in Schomberg. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical maintenance of the machines and equipment in an automotive environment.

Millwright Responsibilities

• Repair, install, and troubleshoot CNC and other various machines and equipment
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Make necessary changes to current equipment and assist with new equipment installation
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical equipment
• Able to use hand and power tools, gauging devices, and both electrical and electronic test equipment
• Mechanical breakdown repairs within the plant /machinery
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, ensuring that all safety and control functions are always working properly
• Troubleshooting of mechanical mechanisms and assemblies

Millwright Qualifications

• Previous experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Machining skills (use of lathes, mills, etc.)
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced, automotive or highly automated manufacturing environment
• 433A C of Q Millwright license
• Previous experience utilizing PLC's, HMI, variable frequency drives, motion control, and CNC equipment
• Welding and fabrication skills
• Ability to manufacture fixtures & tooling from drawing/blueprints
• Proficient with MS Office tools, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (ie MP2) is required
