Job Description

Experienced Industrial Millwright or Millwright Apprentice

Looking for Millwrights and Apprentice Millwrights with a minimum of 2 years work experience as an industrial mechanic.


Are ready to work for a Millwright contractor. This means lots of variety and opportunities to learn, expand and improve your skills.


Competitive wage based on your experience (e.g., Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Red seal ticket, welding tickets).


Opportunity to be sponsored as an apprentice, to ensure you obtain your Red Seal ticket.

Providing millwright services to multiple customers across a range of industries (Automotive, Food, Concrete, Automation Building Supplies, Chemical, Packaging, etc) in the Southern Ontario region.

Your future role:

  • Responding to emergency breakdowns
  • Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
  • Pipe fitting and welding of process piping, equipment and safety barriers
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Performing inspections, repairs and modifications primarily in the field, but also in a shop setting
  • Fabrication/welding of safety guarding, process equipment and structural elements
  • Diagnosing problems and troubleshooting machinery and process equipment that is not working as intended
  • Rigging, installation, and movement of heavy equipment, machinery and process equipment


What You Need to Succeed:

  • You have at least 3 years of work experience in a maintenance, welding or fabrication environment
  • You are able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions, as Bullet Trade Services works in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • You have a basic set of hand tools and work boots
  • Ability to manage other millwrights and work with different personalities
  • You can clearly communicate in both oral and written form.
  • You are collegial and team oriented, as there are always multiple jobs to get done
  • You have a “get it done” attitude and are willing to provide solutions to bespoke problems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, kneel and reach overhead
  • You like order and getting a job done properly, as there is always a process to follow and the 'right' way to do things safely and for the benefit of the client
  • Ability to consistently work safely and maintain a safe work environment
  • You have a G license and a clean driving record
