Job Title: Mid Rise Superintendent

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mid Rise Superintendent to oversee the construction and successful completion of mid-rise residential projects. As a Mid Rise Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring that the project is executed safely, efficiently, and according to the established timelines and specifications.

Responsibilities:

1. Construction Site Management: Take charge of the overall site management, including coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Ensure that all activities align with project plans, budgets, and quality standards.

2. Project Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with the project manager to develop detailed construction plans and schedules. Monitor and adjust schedules as necessary to meet project milestones and deadlines.

3. Quality Control: Maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.

4. Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce a safe work environment for all personnel on the construction site. Implement and monitor safety programs and procedures, conduct safety meetings, and ensure adherence to applicable regulations.

5. Resource Management: Efficiently allocate and manage resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal productivity and cost-effectiveness.

6. Problem Solving: Identify and address any construction-related issues, delays, or obstacles promptly. Collaborate with the project team to find effective solutions and minimize project disruptions.

7. Communication: Foster effective communication channels with the project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Provide regular project updates to the project manager and maintain accurate project documentation.

8. Budget Management: Assist in monitoring project costs, reviewing and approving invoices, and ensuring that the project remains within the established budget.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Superintendent in mid-rise residential construction projects.

- Solid knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate on-site teams.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

- Valid construction-related certifications and licenses may be required.
