A DAY IN THE LIFE

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll harness your exceptional organizational and leadership skills and leverage your expertise to play a pivotal role in driving projects forwards! Your role as Project Manager will include:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and project team members.
• Interpreting cost reports to ensure accurate and effective forecasting of project completion.
• Inspiring and empowering your team to leverage their individual and collective strengths so that you exceed project target expectations.
• Leading engaging project meetings with internal and external stakeholders, fostering an environment of collaboration, monitoring progress, and providing necessary support to ensure the project's continuous advancement.
• Taking ownership of your projects’ overall health, driving them towards success.
• Making regular site visits with the Site Foreman, ensuring hands-on involvement and a thorough understanding of project progress, challenges, and opportunities.
• Propelling your projects forward with exceptional project management skills, collaborating closely with your team to ensure efficient execution, and adhering to planned schedules and cost budgets.

What You Bring To The Table

• Prior field experience as a Red Seal Certified Plumber, Gas Fitter, and/or HVAC Technician.
• Strong data analysis skills that enable you to extract actionable insights and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in navigating relevant software including MS Project, eSUB, Sitedocs, and Plangrid.
• You are eligible to work in Canada and have excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Well-versed in Plumbing code, local specifications, and construction practices.
• 5+ years of progressive project management experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, to streamline and enhance project-related tasks and communication.
• Experience in a mechanical engineer role and/or a background in plumbing.

NICE TO HAVES

• Relevant construction industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• P.Eng and/or PMP designations.
