Required Strengths: Project Management / Team Player/ Self Starter
The Marketing Associate will play a key role on a growing oncology team that strives to deliver value to patients, Healthcare Professionals and GSK. This individual will be self starter that can drive projects forward and effectively work with team members. This successful candidate will support both in line and launch brands and will work closely with the sales team so it will provide range of experiences within pharma commercial teams. Responsibilities include supporting development of sales and training tools, managing key projects for the oncology team and integrating key initiatives around performance and innovation.
In this position you may participate in:
  • Organize and plan day-to-day touchpoints within the oncology business division
  • Play a project management role in the brand planning process including business review, strategy development and operational plans
  • Develop and execute marketing and training materials for both sales force and customer facing programs in alignment with brand strategy
  • Support Product Manager in on-going analysis of the competitive environment that have potential impact to business and support relevant action plans to address opportunities or gaps
  • Help the Marketing team in planning and executing National / Regional advisory board activities
  • Assist the Marketing team in the logistics of National / Regional conference planning
Qualifications required:
  • Creative, persuasive individual who works well in a team environment
  • University degree in Marketing, Business or Health Sciences and preferably working towards or recently completed a Masters’ degree
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interface with external, internal and GSK customers/stakeholders in a matrix environment (responsiveness, “how can we” attitude, tact, ability to facilitate group meetings).
  • General knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is required
  • Clear and concise, verbal and written communication skills including active listening, summarizing, probing, clarifying.\
  • Proven ability to deal with ambiguity, requiring agility and flexibility to deliver on tasks at hand
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and is a strategic and solution-oriented thinker
  • Results oriented with a proven ability to manage projects, prioritize work, and meet challenging deadlines.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Interest and/or experience in marketing
  • Bilingual (French & English) is an asset
