Hourly rate: 55.00 per hr; Salary $ 90 hrs x $ 55.00 x 26 pay periods = 128,7000.00 per year

Job Purpose:

The Engineer is responsible for complete engineering as it pertains to the development, manufacturing, processing analysis, quotation, quality control and manufacturing devices of and more, as it relates to the various styles of Racking and Custom design rack jobs and to assist the production process.

The Engineer shall utilize academic and experience-based industry knowledge to lead through the development, build, construction and manufacturing stages.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed manufacturing processes including:

Engineering production, plant layouts, Cad drawings, production analysis, cost analysis and development of required machinery and facilities; all applicable to custom manufacturing and production of industrial material handling systems and material storage equipment including Cantilever, Selective Racking, Drive-in, Die Racking and more.

Experience:

• Deep knowledge of Excel and MS Office and VBA.
• Strong working experiences with Cold Forming Devices (Shear and Bending).
• Develop maintenance standards, schedules, and programs.
• Deep knowledge of Cold Forming Steels (CFS) principals.
• Deep knowledge of ZOHO and CRM.
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing of mechanical structures.
• Ability to communicate with customers and colleagues in a positive, vivid, and effective professional manner.
• Very strong demonstrated verbal and written English skills.
• Very strong capability of Bill of Material for customized Material Handling Systems.
• Ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously.
• Strong Knowledge in Quality Control (QC).
• Design and develop work simplification programs.
• Extensive knowledge of Manufacturing Process.
• Must be self-driven, highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• University bachelor’s degree (preferred master’s degree) in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Supervise technicians and technologist.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Building Code, Canadian Welding Bureau, RMI, AISI and other related codes and standards.
• Minimum 2 years industry experience in Storage Rack Engineering and experienced in development of department structure, personnel, prompt outputs and profitability.
• Must have good awareness of Welding principals, Sheet Metal Fabrication and Metal Forming.

Credentials:

• Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) by a provincial or territorial association.
• Excel Master (formulas)
• Develop Manufacturing Systems and tools.
• AutoCAD Certification
• Quality Control

Language:

• English ILETS score report of 8.0 or higher 2022 or recent.
