Responsibilities:

• Support manufacturing and manufacturing development.
• Maintain shop floor documentation.
• Lead or participate in Continuous Improvement projects to implement material, labour, and cost-saving initiatives along with capability and capacity improvements.
• Analyze manufacturing processes, methods, layouts, equipment, and tools for improved material flow and increased productivity.
• Work with Fabrication & Purchasing departments to design fixtures and order materials.
• Process engineering change requests to provide continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Lean Manufacturing experience is an asset.
• Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Tool and fixture design.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (welding and machining is an asset).
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
• Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering / Technology.
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a fabrication and assembly environment.
• Has experience working with heavy equipment or similar.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks.
