The role of the Manager, Process Architecture is to provide leadership and direction in implementation of Process Management discipline in CAAT, defining and advancing Process Architecture, and working closely with stakeholders across diverse business areas to develop the vision, framework, and standards for CAAT Enterprise Process Management.
We are looking for someone with the following attributes:
- 5+ Years of Process Architecture or process management experience
- Degree/diploma or equivalent experience in business administration, technology, audit / risk management, marketing, or finance
- 8+ Years of experience working with Business Process Management, Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, and Risk Management groups
- Experience in the development of Process Management frameworks, taxonomies, models, and hierarchies.
- Experience in deploying process inventory and establishing relationships with business capabilities, applications, and data assets using Enterprise Architecture tools
Once here you will:
- Design, own, and evolve the CAAT Process Management framework, taxonomy, hierarchy and relationships
- Participate in business projects and lead efforts focused on design of new and re-engineering of existing business processes
- High judgment, ability to influence, negotiation and leadership skills are essential to success in this role
- Be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities
- Develop vision, framework for documentation and management of CAAT processes; develop the process hierarchy and taxonomy that establishes how processes are defined, structured, and integrated
- Provide input to CAAT technology solutions that have impact on business processes
- Introduce leading practices for architecture of new and re-engineering/optimization of existing business processes
- Build internal and external relationships as required to help ensure process governance activities are aligned with CAAT vision and effectively guides technology and business solutions
- Inform, support, guide, and governe Business Process management across CAAT business units.
- Partner with Service Management, Data Management, and other IT teams on definition of ITSM and data management processes
- Develop catalogs and models which will enable Business stakeholders and IT partners to consistently document, sustain and mature inventory of their business processes
- Develop data driven insights into processes and supporting applications and information assets.
- Lead and manage Process Analyst(s) accountable for documenting and maintaining business process maps.
- Serve as trusted advisor to the Director of Enterprise Architecture and Business Leaders, on all aspects related to process architecture and management, including risks, issues, and mitigation plan options
- Establish relationships between processes and supporting applications, data assets, and associated business risks
- Ensure Process management policies, standards and models align with Enterprise Business Architecture and Process Architecture standards; maintain a network of peers and stakeholders to share and promote best practices and lessons learned
- Assess the current state of the CAAT process inventory, identify gaps and develop action plans to close those gaps; engage business teams to support content development; engage key business stakeholders to facilitate understanding of the process model and action plans
- Fuel development of centralized enterprise-wide business process model and promote enterprise-focused thinking and holistic cross-functional view of business processes
