Director – Application Modernization and Architecture
THE TRANFORMATION JOURNEY CONTINUES
You will provide overall technology leadership in the modernization, architecture, development and deployment of large complex systems with a focus on public cloud adoption. YOU WILL DEFINE THIS ROLE
YOUR CORE EXPERTISE/INSIGHTS
• You currently possess a solid track record of software engineering /delivery excellence, with 15 plus years of progressive expertise.
• Knowledge of Azure and Google technologies.
• Awareness of how scalable, enterprise-level software systems are designed (both on code and infrastructure levels).
• Exceptional project management /relationship management skills.
• Expertise leading, facilitating, and collaborating on IT strategic initiatives with both internal/external customers. Leading the discussions with executive stakeholder across the enterprise and divisions
• Member of the IT Senior Leadership team reporting to VP Development/Modernization
• Lead/mentor and build on a 40+team... including Senior Managers, Managers, Product Owners, Software/DevOps Engineers, Scrum Masters, and Technical Analysts
• Develop /execute 3-5 years roadmaps around Digital Communication Technology, Cloud Based Technology (Azure and GCP,) Contact Center Technology, HR Technology, and Client Services
• Create strategic alignment across the organization by partnering with Sales, Services, Claims, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, and Legal
• Lead major transformation around Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Improvement
• Foster innovation around emerging technologies …thinking “outside the box”..bringing a startup mind set
