What will your typical day look like?
The primary objective of this position is to provide reporting and analysis support for Deloitte Technology’s Infrastructure Services. The position works closely with other Deloitte groups and vendors to provide holistic expertise of the relevant analytics to the customer. The chosen candidate will support senior management and gain valuable exposure to Deloitte and its member firms around the world.
In this role, you will:

• Meet with customers to collect requirements on new projects.
• Adhere to established incident management service level objectives
• Develop SQL and SPL queries to solve data retrieval problems quickly.
• Develop analytics and dashboards using Splunk and/or Microsoft Power BI.
• Responsible for awareness and compliance to policy and guidelines of the information security management system (ISMS)
• Create and improve API integration automation solutions using Python or other coding languages.
• Provide visibility and insights to customers concerning their environment such as activity and usage information, hardware and software inventory, and compliance.
• Monitor the ServiceNow ticketing system for effective use
• Provide capacity information to network infrastructure teams.
• Have independent ownership of analytics projects from requirements to delivery.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you
You are someone with:

• Knowledge of Splunk, Splunk ITSI, or any other Splunk add-ons
• Basic understanding of infrastructure and networking technologies
• Knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases (NoSQL is a plus)
• DITIL or related Service Management qualifications
• Knowledge of REST APIs
• Knowledge of programming language(s) including: R, Python, JavaScript, and/or PowerShell
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI OR
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
