This role is part of our Personalised Creative team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Ancestry, Walmart, and more!
JOB PURPOSE:
As a Junior Copywriter, you will join our global Copy Team made up of 25 people around the world. You will write for all digital channels, providing on-brand website copy that drives clicks and engagement.
You’ll be supporting the eBay North America account, working closely with the Copy Lead to follow and improve upon creative standards, processes, and guidelines to maximise quality and minimise churn. This role requires a genuine passion for the craft of copywriting, an affinity for brand storytelling, and a keen eye for detail.
This is an 12 month fixed contract.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with Designers
• Contribute to team creative
• Adhere to clients' tone of voice and brand guidelines
• Create clear, effective, and original copy and content for our clients’ onsite marketing
• Proactively support other Copywriters regionally and globally
• Iterate on copy changes quickly and effectively with guidance from Copy Lead
• Research competitors and trends for creative inspiration
• Brainstorms

SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in the e-commerce/retail environment a plus
• 0-1 years copywriting experience; a background in agency or brand is preferred
• A collaborative approach to getting things done
• Readiness to work at a fast pace on large marketing campaigns with many assets
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and enthusiastically
• Confidence in working with other Copywriters and Editors
• Ability to create marketing content that sells
• An understanding of the importance of consistency across different touchpoints of a user journey
• A supportive, proactive attitude towards projects
• Exposure to multi-channel digital copy and brand development; a background in social media content and copywriting preferred
