WorkSafeNB is seeking a Manager, Compliance Services. Reporting to the Director, Compliance and Enforcement, you will plan, direct, and manage the operations of a department/business unit in the Prevention Division and provide leadership to the team to achieve identified results within the context of the divisional operational plan and WorkSafeNB’s strategic plan. You will monitor operations and take action to improve productivity, performance, processes, and efficiency, ensuring quality control, and effectively developing a high-performing team that delivers superior client service.
Your key areas of responsibility include:
· Providing strong leadership that drives engagement of the team to enable their performance, development, and overall employee experience while delivering a superior client experience. Enabling others to grow, develop and achieve career aspirations.
· Implementing the Division’s business strategy by developing the processes, standards, objectives and measures for the business unit and team to maximize productivity, business performance and efficiency, and ensure quality control while delivering superior client service.
· Managing the business unit’s budget and ensuring deviations and key drivers are clearly identified to the Director.
· Understanding the purpose of the business unit and align people, processes, and objectives to attain this purpose. Develop an understanding of and appropriately apply the department’s unique processes, systems, policies, and procedures to drive performance, superior client service, trust, and credibility with the team.

You, as a successful candidate, possess:
· Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline.
· At least three years experience leading teams or supervisory experience.
· Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and health and safety principles.
· Health and/or safety certification/accreditation would be an asset.
· Ability to travel throughout the province to attend meetings, visit stakeholders and support your team members.
A combination of formal training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competency in English is required.
Pay Scale $90,650.18 to $106,646.60
