Located in Toronto, Canada, notable credits include Eric Kripke’s Emmy nominated superhero series THE BOYS (Amazon),Tim Burton’s critically acclaimed WEDNESDAY (Netflix), the epic video game adaptation HALO (Paramount +), Steve Blackman’s THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY (Netflix), and features such David Cronenberg’s CRIMES OF THE FUTURE, Noah Baumbach’s WHITE NOISE (Netflix) and the upcoming Lionsgate release from director Jean-Francois Richet, PLANE.

Responsibilities

• Solve creative and technical problems under tight deadlines.
• Help establish the overall aesthetics through look development and R&D.
• Light and render 3D scenes in a live-action VFX environment.
• Ability to work closely with 3D Artists and Compositors to integrate CG elements.
• Collaborate with CG Supervisors to establish overall aesthetics through lookdev and R&D.

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to light and render 3d scenes.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Knowledge of Mantra is considered an asset.
• A proven eye for detail, composition, colour and lighting.
• Capacity to thrive in a results-driven pipeline.
• 2+ years experience as a Lighter in live-action VFX pipeline.
• Proficiency in Maya, Nuke, and Houdini.
