Design Producer Jobs

Our technology client is looking for a remote Design Program Manager to join their team in Vancouver.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate design reviews and ensure actions are captured and communicated
• Refine the client’s design process for maximum efficiency and quality output
• Define and drive the Studio’s rhythm of business and operations
• Keep a pulse on client health and morale; generate positive energy
• Review tools and the process to optimize cross-team collaboration
• Identify capacity and forecast for design workloads
• Drive design deliverables for each product cycle
• Manage design work items, scope, and requirements
• Track the team's key results within the OKR framework
• Operationalize design process and efficiency to increase productivity
• Negotiate scope with partners and leadership according to bandwidth
• Assist with client’s budget and annual spend
• Partner with Design, Product, and Engineering leadership to develop an understanding of product vision
• Forecast resourcing needs and lead conversations on asks

Qualifications:

• Experience managing simultaneous projects and coordinating multiple teams
• Understands how to utilize design specialties and when to integrate with partnering teams (PM, Engineering, Marketing, and Content)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• 5 or more years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with OKRs
• Self-starter with knowledge of interaction and interface design
• Preferred:
• Customer-centric mindset
• Familiarity with agile or lean methodologies
• Experience working with design and product engineering teams
• Familiarity and working knowledge of Figma
• Experience with modern project tracking software, such as ADO (Azure DevOps), Jira, Basecamp, Asana, or similar.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of C$81.90 - C$91.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
