Project Coordinator, Music Industry (Vancouver, Toronto)

The 604 Group is a multimedia organization including 604 Records, Light Organ Records, Simkin Artist Management, Comedy Here Often, and Intraset Records. With over 20 years in the music industry, the label group is home to diverse rosters and has developed some of Canada’s most renowned recording artists such as Carly Rae Jepsen, Theory of A Deadman, Dallas Smith, Marianas Trench, The Zolas, Louise Burns, Coleman Hell, JoJo Mason and many more.

Our office is looking for a qualified Project Coordinator to join our team. We are open to applicants in either Vancouver or Toronto locations.

About You:

The ideal candidate would be ambitious, creative, driven, and attentive to detail. Excellent written and oral communication is a must. You excel at multi-tasking. You are organized and efficient when working against deadlines. You are adept at coming up with solutions in the face of a challenge. You have interest in marketing initiatives and are social media savvy.

About The Role:

Core job responsibilities include coordinating schedules & travel details, tracking and reconciling tight budgets, research, and working with the project manager on executing marketing objectives. Must be proficient with excel, outlook and google apps (docs, calendar etc).

Job Tasks:

·Assist with daily administrative tasks (registering content, updating calendars, updating facts sheets, etc)

·Tracking and reconciling budgets using Excel

·Keep artist platforms updated (social media, website, music streaming profiles)

·Assisting with the delivery of releases to digital platforms. This includes iTunes, YouTube and Spotify (fill out forms and prepare files).

·Coordinating the creation and release of physical products (CD & vinyl manufacturing, cloth merchandise)

·Coordinating information for grant, award, festival and touring applications

·Work closely with the project manager to brainstorm marketing and promotional ideas. Help plan and execute marketing campaigns.

·Assisting in the planning of events: promo events, charity events, album release parties, premiere parties, livestream events, and more

·Coordinate travel and create itineraries for events, tours, award shows etc. This includes booking flights, accommodation, and ground transportation.

Skills:

·Organized

·Highly attentive to detail

·Proficient experience with standard applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, Zoom, Slack, and Google Docs

·Internet sleuth (i.e. ability to conduct research)

·Strong oral and written communication skills

·A motivated team player who also thrives working autonomously

·An understanding of social media best practices is beneficial
