Job Description
As a junior member of our team, you will continuously develop and evolve your proficiency to:


  • Facilitate onboarding, upskilling, retraining and development courses in both virtual and live environments
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Participate in the tracking and analysis of learning and development metrics
  • Create engaging training modules, workshops, and e-learning content that caters to various learning styles
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of best practices and industry trends related to people development, leadership, workplace learning and adult learning
  • Contribute to the creation of a constructive working culture where development of our people is as important and critical to profit generation
  • Create evaluation tools related to learning and development
  • Engage in research to support department projects and initiatives
  • Design and implement incentive programs including contests and prize auctions


What You Bring To This Role


  • A curiosity that drives creative and innovative solutions
  • Previous experience designing and implementing learning programs in sales and marketing is an asset
  • Knowledge and understanding of ESL education principles
  • A commitment to continuous personal development
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences
  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and diverse perspectives
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Competency with e-learning software and platforms including e-learning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Vyond, Nearpod) design platforms (Canva) and Microsoft Suite
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Knowledge and understanding of adult education including instructional design and evaluation
  • A desire to contribute to and build a constructive working culture


Requirements


What you will need to succeed


  • 1-3 years experience in community adult training or coaching
  • Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in Adult Education or Instructional Design
  • 1 years of experience in a workplace learning and development role
