Junior Project Manager Jobs

Adecco is currently recruiting for a Project Management Specialist in Petawawa, ON. This opportunity is fully on-site. This role is with our government client. The successful candidate must be eligible for a Secret Security Clearance.

The Project Management Specialist will have the following responsibilities:

• Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
• Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
• Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan
• Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.
• Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
• Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
• Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
• Schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.

The Project Management Specialist must meet the following mandatory requirements:

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools;
• Must have experience with Project Management;
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree and/or 3 years’ experience in aviation project management
• ­PMP certification would be an asset
• Must have a sense of organization, professionalism and resourcefulness;
