Responsibilities:
- Communicate with Service Team to ensure estimates are accurately detailed including parts, labor and customer requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors and engineers
- Review risk assessments with General Manager
- Maintain detailed records of all information exchanged
- Contact customers with final quotes and answer any questions they might have
- Work with General Manager to select equipment and subcontractors for projects
- Maintain initial project documentation
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for preventative maintenance opportunities
- Collect and compare bids from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors
- Optimize costs by negotiating prices with vendors
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for recommended repairs and direct replacements
- Create and finalize proposals
- Prepare detailed cost estimate reports for management
- Generate leads for upgrades, retrofits and new construction and communicate to the Management team.
- Assist management with small project estimates
- Consult and communicate with various stakeholders to address any concerns with client sites, systems and equipment
Requirements:
- Experience with Salesforce or other field service software
- Articulate communicator
- Ability to multi task as applicable
- Possess strong problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of math, science and technology
- Mechanical background (desired, but not required)
- Proactive problem-solver that manage difficult situations with a positive result
- Must be willing to travel within the Province of Alberta
- English literacy
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work quickly under pressure without supervision
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills to deal sensitively with customers who have malfunctioning equipment
- 1+ years in an estimating role
- Familiarity with mobile tools and software applications
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
