Alera is the creator of Zensa Topical Anaesthetic, one of the fastest growing pharma skin care products in the tattoo, microblading and aesthetician markets (@zensaskin on IG). We are looking to add the right fit to our expanding team based in Vancouver, BC. Having experienced tremendous growth over the past three years, Alera is looking for a full time, Jr. Marketing Manager to assist in growing a sophisticated brand within the wellness space.

Description

As Jr. Marketing Manager, you will report to Alera’s Marketing Manager. Your mission will be to assist the marketing department with all of Alera’s plans, strategies and campaigns across all platforms and audience groups. With your strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills and creative eye, you will assist with new product launches, creating original content and the development, execution and tracking of all marketing and sales-related initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and identify trends
• Keep a cohesive brand image with marketing assets and introduce fresh ideas keeping long term marketing strategy in mind
• Work directly with the Marketing Manager on new product launches (messaging, strategy, brand creation, photoshoots, media planning, launch execution)
• Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports
• Assist with social content ideation and review, confirming content aligns with the brand voice and provides value to the target audience
• Develop and manage project timelines to facilitate a timely execution of marketing campaigns. Oversee relationships with external vendors, track progress, identify and communicate potential delays and adjust timelines as necessary
• Support the marketing department’s initiatives with the planning, execution and tracking of marketing programs such as digital ads, email, event / convention, and content marketing
• Create, proofread and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring a consistent voice

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience
• BA/BS or equivalent in Marketing, Communications or Business
• Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels and best practices, including social, digital and email marketing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to Alera offices in LA and Toronto
• Outstanding written and verbal skills, as well as excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
• Proficient in Adobe Suite
• Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong eye for aesthetics and high level of creativity

Compensation

Competitive salary, dependent on experience
