OVERVIEW
As Junior Logistics Coordinator, you will oversee and ensure compliance with factory shipments around the world. You will report to the Logistics Manager and make sure all information is accurately communicated to the supply chain and relevant channels. As a key member of the Supply Chain team, you will collaborate with various internal departments and external partners to ensure the achievement of both short-term and long-term goals for the department. Your contribution will be instrumental in meeting the daily operational needs as well as the overall targets of the department.
Ensure timely flow of offshore and domestic products through the Logistics process: Customs clearance and delivery to the Stüssy regional 3PL’s, Global Accounts and Retail Stores; pre- and post-entry compliance with customs and OGA (Other Governmental Agencies).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Global Logistics
- Database/ERP administration & maintenance
- Coordinate all shipments of materials and finished goods from production locations to 3PLs.
- Other related duties and assignments as required.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and advise of delays.
- Liaise with customs brokers/forwarders to arrange shipments and ensure Customs Clearance for International and domestic shipments.
- Management of Air and Sea shipment bookings in accordance with ex-factory and due dates.
- Maintain logistics shipments reports and distribute to supply chain members accordingly.
- Work with the Stussy global 3PLs and internal teams to ensure inbound shipments are delivered on time and corresponding information is provided and communicated to all related parties.
- Shipment track & trace, and making delivery arrangements.
- Document maintenance and filing.
- Maintain an accurate Logistics directory and SOPs for Distributor/Forwarders/Documentations requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, fluid working, and team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and collaborative skills.
- College Degree or Diploma in a relevant field is preferred.
- Must be highly detail-oriented with the ability to fulfill responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience with Logistics operations & Customs Compliance regulations.
- ERP knowledge is required (Full Circle ERP is a plus)
- Good organizational and analytical skills; ability to work effectively under time constraints and deliver results by critical deadlines.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Intermediate MS Excel/Google Platform.
