IT Business Analyst - Process Documentation - Banking –

• Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
• The Vulnerability Management team is seeking a Business Analyst to manage the documentation of processes, process alignment with GTEP, issue tracking, audit and escalation
• Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member
• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Business Group: Vulnerability Management - Part of the Cybersecurity operations team in the bank, focusing on reporting and vulnerability governance
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities

IT Business Analyst - Process Documentation - Banking – Mandatory Skills

• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization
• 5+ years of experience with MS Office Suite (Visio, PowerPoint, Excel)
• 8+ years of technical experience as a Business Analyst, documenting processes and data flows within a large enterprise
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction
• Strong decision making, forward thinking and creative problem-solving skills
• 5+ years of hands-on project Management skills - proven ability to meet aggressive timelines while working on multiple projects
• 5+ years of experience working with IT technology projects and deployments - ability to translate the Business Requirements into Technical Requirements
• Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related IT field required
